halp!

my little boy's had an off-again-on-again drippy eye -- as if he's got a cold, clear mucus comes out sometimes, not every day, never the other eye..... and no sneezing or other symptoms of any respiratory or other problem like that.

I keep an eye on it but wonder if anyone's had this? it just comes and goes - has over months -- doesn't seem to have a particular pattern (ie, cold or allergies or what-have-you).
