I wanted to thank everyone for their support helping me deal with the passing of my furry companion Charlotte....hugs to all.
I recently went to a local shelter to look at cats. The first cat to greet me was Harry, a big friendly tabby. While I looked around and petted various cats, Harry continued to follow me. Not seeing a collar on him with info, I went out and asked about him. The girl who let me in knew right away who I was asking about. Harry had been rescued back in 2006, briefly had a home with a family with children, but wasn't a fit. He was favorite of everyone there, but unfortunately was never adopted. I went back in and he once again came up to me. Right then I decided to adopt him. I filled out the papers and paid the fee. I told them I would pick him up first thing in the morning. He's still adjusting a bit to things being a bit different in a home as opposed to a room with 20 to 30 cats. He is certainly a sweet cat, a little bigger at 14.5# than I've been used in a long while. He enjoys laying in the living room window, on the pc desk, or on one of the armchairs when I in the living room. I hope everyone enjoys the pics I've posted of him. Thanks again everyone....>^.^<
