...cause mine doesn't. She does this thing where she'll come up to my face and purr like crazy, then she'll try to gently paw my mouth or my nose.. sometimes she'll even do it in the middle of the night. After a few minutes she usually just falls asleep by my face.

Re: does your cat let you nap?
Sat, September 5, 2009 - 10:51 PMThey let me nap. What they won't do is let me get a full night's sleep. Hence the napping.

Tue, September 8, 2009 - 10:24 AMSpooky will curl up on me if i lie down in such a way that accommodates her, Tonya will perch above my head along the bed-frame and Butterscotch and Snowflake will either drape themselves to some degree or other over my arm or stretch along my side and cuddle up with me...it is cute to the point of being beyond ridiculous -

Re: does your cat let you nap?
Tue, September 8, 2009 - 12:54 PMYes, we are permitted to sleep until about 5 a.m., at which point little kitty stands with her face two inches from one of ours and begins the staredown. It's creepy to wake up and open your eyes and see a giant cat eyeball! If this fails to rouse us, she plants a tiny kiss on our cheek to say "Wake up and feed me!" Sometimes the kiss is on an eyelid. Sometimes, rarely, we get two kisses.
Pobrecito will just keep flopping by our heads. He is usually the one who drives us out of bed.
What we are usually not physically able to do, however, is roll over during the night...there's a kitty pile (4 of them) that has us pinned to the bed. We just hate to roll over and disturb them. It seems wrong somehow. ;) -

Re: does your cat let you nap?
Wed, September 9, 2009 - 1:24 PMThat kitty pin-down has turned me into a thrasher in bed and a lot of times it wakes me up and I can't go back to sleep. And the cats are so offended!! They think I'm half food machine, half couch.
