I'm planning on buying a Feliway diffuser so that i can (at least temporarily) rescue the little stray half-Meezer that has been lurking around the back courtyard of my apartment complex. It's a given that i will need to use one because Tonya tends to be very anti-social to feline guests (as evinced by the Fluffy debacle of last October) so my question is this: when using Feliway, what are the steps involved in making the eventual introduction
also, will i need to keep refilling or if the arrangement becomes permanent, will familiarity eventually replace contempt?
(When i got Tonya as a 14 week old kitten, I got Shadow 3 weeks later and though Shadow was full-grown, Tonya terrorized her for a good six weeks until she realized that she was big enough to put the cute little hellbeast back in her place...something Tonya remembers even though she is now a good deal bigger than Shadow)

Re: how do i do it?
Tue, June 17, 2008 - 7:13 AMWhen I introduced two of my cats the Feliway diffuser proved to be a complete waste of money. They hated each other and they still do - 3 years later. Oh well. Anyways, here's some good articles about introducing new cats to your home.
